Stacy McGee-Wheat, PMHNP-BC

Stacy McGee-Wheat is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) at New Horizons Counseling Center in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Since joining the center in July 2024, Stacy has been dedicated to providing high-quality mental health care to her clients.

Stacy holds a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in psychiatry, as well as a Master of Arts in Education from McNeese State University. Her extensive education and training enable her to offer comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and psychotherapy.

At New Horizons Counseling Center, Stacy specializes in treating a variety of mental health disorders, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and more. She is committed to creating a supportive and empathetic environment where clients feel comfortable discussing their mental health concerns.

Stacy is passionate about mental health advocacy and strives to reduce the stigma associated with mental illness.
