Ciera LeBoeuf, PLPC, joined New Horizons Counseling Center in January 2026, bringing with her a strong background in mental health counseling, substance use treatment, and supportive care for adults navigating complex life challenges.
She works with clients ages 18 and up, offering compassionate support for anxiety, depression, grief and loss, substance use concerns, relationship issues, and major life transitions.
Grounded in a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) framework, Ciera helps clients identify unhelpful patterns, build new coping skills, and develop healthier ways of navigating life’s challenges. She values practical, collaborative approaches that empower clients to make meaningful and sustainable change.
Ciera is a graduate of the University of New Orleans, where she earned her Master of Education in Counseling through a CACREP‑accredited program. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Psychology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
Ciera strives to create a warm, welcoming environment where clients feel genuinely seen and heard. She believes therapy should feel like a partnership—one where you are supported, respected, and encouraged as you explore new possibilities for your life. Whether you're seeking clarity, emotional relief, or long‑term personal growth, Ciera meets you exactly where you are.
Her goal is to help you feel empowered, capable, and confident as you move toward the life you want. She welcomes individuals who are beginning therapy for the first time as well as those returning to continue their healing journey.
