Dr. Brenda Roberts is a seasoned mental health professional with over 20 years of experience in counseling and psychotherapy. She holds a Doctorate in Counseling Psychology and is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Her approach is rooted in empathy, evidence-based practices, and a deep commitment to helping individuals, couples, and families achieve emotional wellness.
Dr. Roberts continues to provide therapy at New Horizons Counseling Center, where she specializes in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. Her clients value her warm, collaborative style and her ability to create a safe, supportive space for healing.

Dr. Roberts founded New Horizons Counseling Center over two decades ago with a vision to offer accessible, high-quality mental health care to the community. Her leadership and dedication helped establish the center as a trusted and respected provider of mental health services.
At the end of 2023, she transitioned ownership of the practice to Cecilia Duplechan, PMHNP-BC, ensuring the continued growth and integrity of the center. Dr. Roberts remains an active and valued member of the clinical team, continuing her legacy of compassionate care.
