BIO:
AJ Floor is a dedicated Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) based in Lake Charles, Louisiana. With a strong commitment to mental health and well-being, AJ provides compassionate and effective counseling services to individuals ages 16 and up.
Her approach is client-centered, focusing on creating a safe and supportive environment for her clients to explore their thoughts and feelings.
AJ earned her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from McNeese and is currently working towards full licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Her clinical interests include: trauma, anxiety and depression, college students, life transitions and adjustments, and the LGBTQIA+ community.
She is passionate about helping her clients develop coping strategies, improve their emotional resilience, and achieve their personal goals.
Outside the office, AJ likes to read, color, do puzzles, and write short stories.
She enjoys exploring new research in the mental health field and collaborating with other disciplines to improve access to effective treatment.
